Our story
In 2002, the time of Vention’s inception, the startup scene was only just taking off, but Sergei and Andrey knew its potential firsthand having worked with disruptors in the space.
In the early 2000s, when Vention was founded, the startup scene was only beginning to take off, but Sergei and Andrey saw its potential firsthand through their work with emerging disruptors.

Meet the team
Vention’s leadership comprises a diverse and dynamic group of experts across engineering, sales, business operations, and marketing.
Sergei brings over 20 years of entrepreneurial and executive experience to his role.
Based in New York with a background in microelectronics and software engineering, he focuses on applying software solutions to help scale disruptive startups and fast-growing companies worldwide. In addition to leading the strategic vision for Vention’s service provision model, he is passionate about investing in and partnering with early-stage tech companies.
Sergei is an investor through TechLaunch, DreamIt Ventures, Arc Angel Fund, and Scout Ventures, and in 2014, co-founded Braavo Capital, a company focused on funding and growing mobile app and game companies.

Marc has over 20 years of experience as a growth marketer, helping to transform B2B and B2C brands and scale disruptive initiatives.
As CMO, Marc leads Vention’s three marketing divisions: Growth, Design, and Brand, defining the department’s collective strategy and associated goals on a global scale.
Previous leadership roles with tech innovators including Yahoo!, Betterment, and Ellevest complemented by hands-on creative development, media buying, and channel optimization at renowned brand agencies such as Chiat/Day and BBH have shaped Marc’s strategic approach to marketing objectives, consistently resulting in the generation of efficient user growth; brand awareness; audience engagement; and revenue.

A Vention cofounder, Andrey oversees the company's IT administration department as well as related business operations and internal systems.
He also ensures company-wide compliance with information security programs, helping to safeguard data integrity as the organization scales.
Andrey continues to play an integral role as the company rapidly expands, leading day-to-day operational activities, strategic planning, and community initiatives to support uninterrupted, resilient growth.

Glyn holds nearly two decades of experience in multiple technology stacks, cloud solutions, distributed team performance, technology advising, and more.
Based in the UK, Glyn builds dedicated engineering teams that deliver scalable software solutions to companies, from early-stage startups to legacy enterprises.
Before Vention, Glyn held several technical and executive roles, including at Zappit, Lumeon, and Imaginary Cloud, while also playing an active role in CTO Craft, a global community for CTO mentorship and coaching.

Anna brings over a decade of business development and strategic growth expertise to her role.
Based in New York, Anna Martynenka leads Vention’s global business development efforts, driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives and deep client partnerships. With a background in business economics and marketing, she’s known for identifying market trends and scaling operations across regions.
Anna began her career at Vention as a business development intern and went on to launch the UK office, growing it to $30M in revenue within four years. Today, she continues to expand the company’s global footprint while advising startups and investing in early-stage ventures.

Mikhail brings over 15 years of engineering leadership and delivery excellence to his role.
Based in New York, Mikhail Linnik serves as Vention’s first Vice President of Software Engineering, where he leads a global delivery organization spanning 10+ international hubs. He drives cross-border collaboration, domain specialization, and scalable execution to meet the evolving needs of enterprise and growth-stage clients.
Since joining Vention in 2014, Mikhail has led major business units and scaled one of the company’s largest offices. His strategic vision and operational clarity continue to shape a unified, high-performing delivery model that delivers measurable impact across industries.
